2007 Compensation by Number of Hospitals
Hospitalists serving multiple hospitals earn on average 4.5% more than those that serve just one hospital. While four-fifths of surveyed hospitalists serve just one hospital, one-third of hospitalists earning $250/k & over serve multiple hospitals.
